Do you come to me?
Yes. Takumi is fully mobile auto detailing in Johnson County, Kansas. We come to your home, your office, or wherever your vehicle is parked, and we bring everything with us, including water and power, so there is nothing for you to set up.
How long does a detail take?
It depends on the package and the condition of the vehicle. A maintenance detail usually runs one to two hours, and a full interior and exterior detail typically takes three to four hours. We build the schedule around doing it right instead of doing it fast.
How much does it cost?
Exterior details start at $100, interior details at $150, and a full detail at $225, with the final price based on the size and condition of the vehicle. Every price is listed up front on the booking page, so you know the number before you commit. No surprise add-ons at the end.
Do I need to be there while you work?
Not the whole time. Most clients hand off the keys and go about their day. We ask that you be available at the start and the end so we can talk through what you want and walk the finished vehicle with you before we leave.
What if the weather is bad?
We keep an eye on the forecast and will reach out ahead of time if conditions will affect the work. Rescheduling is easy and there is no penalty for a weather move.
How often should I get my car detailed?
For most drivers in Kansas, a full detail twice a year with a lighter maintenance detail in between keeps a vehicle in good shape. Winter salt and summer sun are both hard on paint and interiors, so the timing usually works out to spring and fall.
